Million Pound Game date and time confirmed

This morning it has been confirmed that this year’s Million Pound Game will take place on Sunday 7th October at 7PM UK time.

The RFL confirmed in a statement that the reasoning for such a time was due to the various geographical possibilities of where the game would be held and decided on the time due to it being the best to cover all eventualities. The match will see the fourth and fifth placed teams in The Qualifiers face off at the home of the higher team and, as it stands, that match would see Toulouse cross the Atlantic to face Toronto. However, there is still a very real possibility that the Frenchmen could, indeed, finish fourth while London are breathing down their necks.

Indeed, the top three clubs in the competition – Salford, Leeds and Hull KR – are only two points clear of fourth place with two games remaining so it is far from guaranteed that those clubs will have sealed their Super League future before the Million Pound Game.

Get 'em Onside is that vessel. Since starting in October 2017, the site has accrued in excess of 400,000 views, nearing a million impressions and almost a thousand followers on the facebook, twitter and instagram platforms. Not bad for something that was only started to kill a bit of time!
